This photo doesn’t do the stack of paper justice. Every time I think I’m good on the floor plans, they come up with new requests fo r changes. This is why I request to work hourly.
progress is um... progressing on the island. all the vertical trim boards are just test fit, so there should be less panel gaps in the end, plus there is always caulk and paint to cover my less than perfect cuts.

I don’t know which one you prefer, but for my tastes that new elevation looks like a significant downgrade over the one you posted before (even if I thought the old one looked like a firehouse).

I have 3 or 4 options at this point. they havnt seen anything for the exterior yet. The garage side is definitely too tall in this one.

It sorta looks like a barn. If done right, that’s not a bad thing.
Looking at the scale of that house, it makes me wish I had so much money that I could pay someone like you to make fancy drawings. I wouldn’t actually pay you, tho... I’d just keep my current small house and fill the basement with gold coins.
